Welcome to the Cardio Gracie Barra Katy Kickboxing Program!
The rhythmical movements in GBK’s cardio kickboxing program will improve your flexibility, balance, coordination, reflexes, and stamina. Our workouts consist of bag work, kicking and punching drills and conditioning exercises aimed at losing weight and improving muscle-tone, strength, and endurance.
Our instructors are world class kick boxers who will teach you proper stance, positioning, punching, and kicking techniques to ensure you optimize your movements in a natural and efficient manner.
In addition, our classes provide an aerobic workout that burns calories and will accelerate weight loss. An hour class can typically burn between 350 to 600 calories while increasing muscle mass, and lowering your body fat percentage.
Cardio kickboxing is also an effective way to relieve stress and frustration. Training just 3 hours per week will provide enough opportunity to tone your abdomen, arms, legs, reduce love handles, build muscle, and lose fat.
Your body needs time to recover so initially you should plan to train on alternate days. After a month or two your improved conditioning will allow you to attend more frequently.
Apart from helping you to get a toned body and lose fat, Cardio kickboxing promotes core muscle development which protect and stabilize your lower back and provides increased abdominal strength.
